Fires!

James loves when the weekly grocery ads come, so he can make a fire. He has never made an actual fire, but getting it ready seems to make his day. He usually tares up everything, but after making his birthday paper chain we had some scraps, and some that weren't really scraps and he cut them up and carefully piled them up. I accidentally got something too close to his fire and he told me that it was hot and that I needed to get a stick to get it. He knows his fire etiquette. James has never seemed to mind the fact that he's making this "fire" on the kitchen table or the living room carpet, but man if something falls into it or you try to move it, you are going to burn yourself.
