Easter with the Oliverson's

It has been great being so close to my little sister Nancy, but it doesn't seem like I ever see her with both of us working! I think I saw her 3-4 times last month because my mom was here and this might have been the first time I saw her this month! Because she is all I got here and she has "huge" Oliverson commitments I thought we would try a little sister get together the day before Easter.  Years ago my older sister Emily made a comment about keeping the Easter Bunny on Saturday and the spiritual Easter on Sunday which has thankfully stuck with me, so this worked out perfectly.  We had Hawaiian Haystacks at the park and while Nancy and I took a walk around the block with all the minions Jace hid all the eggs.  I attempted to be smart, but due to lack of communication it didn't work! There was supposed to be only 12 eggs per kid with a color/theme attached to each child.  This would have worked out well but I must not have let Nancy know of this plan and she filled all the eggs I gave her instead of counting them out!

Some how magically we were the only ones with this thought.  The park was all ours the entire time we were there and I hope we can continue doing something like this every year for Easter!

As appropriate for his age Easton inspected each egg before placing it in his basket.  I don't recall him eating any of the contents, but the candy was poured out and the egg thrown in before moving on to the next egg.
While we were driving to the park James yells out, "I get to help Brogan!" and so he did.  James patiently walked next to Brogan who was really more interested in drinking his juice from a huge red solo cup then what the plastic eggs might contain.  When we finally gave James clearance to track down the rest of the eggs the hunt was on!
So proud of his spoils (notice they are different shades of pink and purple, per his request)!
Uncle Jace did a good job hiding James eggs.  James requested his eggs to be in trees and not just in the grass like the little kids!
